The company was established in 1983 by Dr. Suleman Vohra, foreign-qualified PhD in petrochemicals, who transformed Penta from modest facilities into a structured production unit.

Mr.Muhammad Yaqoob Vohra served as Chief Executive from 2010 to February 2021, followed by Mr. Junaid Vohra, who took charge as Chief Executive in 2021 and continues to lead modernization and expansion.
